I stumbled across a new blogging tool today called BlogRush. You can see it in operation here on the sidebar.
The idea behind BlogRush is that it is a “Cooperative Syndication Network” (their words), i.e. your blog is syndicated to other members of the network and theirs to yours. The idea, naturally enough, is to increase traffic to your blog.
I’ve included it on this blog to see how effective it is – my webstats are fairly flat so if it works, it should be easy to spot.
BlogRush Update
BlogRush now has a quality control system in place. One of their criteria is that you must have several blog posts per month. So this blog has been removed.
I’m not sure that this is a good thing as it is surely about quality not quantity.
Which suggests that BlogRush appears to be aimed squarely at Internet marketing type blogs. Which is not so surprising I guess when you consider that the founder of BlogRush is a serious Internet Marketer!
But a pity nonetheless as I thought that this was a great idea.
